Loving. Liberating. Life-giving.
Encounter the Holy One in community as we share God’s love in worship, acceptance, compassion, and service.
We are an open and affirming, Episcopal and Lutheran faith community rooted in the Jesus story.
We believe that God loves us and empowers us to love our neighbors, ourselves, and creation.
Join us in asking questions, exploring Scripture, grappling with the paradoxes of life, and embodying God’s love in our community.
Walking with Jesus. Standing with Our Neighbors.

You are the Light
[Jesus said,] “You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. People do not light a lamp and put it under the bushel basket; rather, they put it on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14-16, NRSVue

Love One Another
Jesus teaches with parables pretty often in the Gospels. The disciples and others who are listening do not always understand the message he is trying to convey. We don’t always understand what Jesus was trying to say either.
But he is very clear about this: Love God; love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39; Mark 12:29-30; Luke 10:25-28). Jesus takes it to the next level in John 13:34: “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.”
As disciples of Jesus, we reject Christian nationalism and its white supremacist/racist theology. We stand with our neighbors no matter where they were born or what shade of God their skin is. We decry the killings, kidnappings, and chaos ICE agents have inflicted in our country; we decry the powers and principalities that oversee and enable these actions to occur; and we cry out for an end to these inhumane practices.
Let us act, as we are able, to advocate for peace and justice until it is on earth as it is in heaven.
Serving with you,
Pastor Jenn
